Yesterday, Saturday, Larry took me to Winstar in Oklahoma. I am not much of a gambler but I am a 4 TOPS fan. We had tickets for the concert, arriving early to play a slot machine or two. (Yes, Cochon came with me) No photos are taken in the casino, and the photo pickings are slim as I visually share my day with you.
We were in the third row of the concert. I loved every moment, and suggest that if you ever have the chance to see the 4 Tops in concert..grab it with both hands. I am still be-bopping this morning, and Larry is smiling. We saw them last year with the Temptations here in town...and yes, I think that I am an addict.
We had lovely seats for the concert. Pig does not like the dark and opted to stay in my purse. He stayed close to the tickets.
I do not gamble often. Yesterday before the concert....larry gave me $50.00. After walking around, as I always do, I settled into a loud, bright Wheel Of Fortune slot. I slipped in a $5. and played just one credit at a time. Twice I did this(2 dollars). That is when it happened. I won all of this money. (over the years, this has happened to me. It seems this is how my gambling experience always is. In Nassau I won $2,000 one night, and Larry said what do you want to do? I asked for a coke and $25 dollars more. I drank my coke, walked the casino sat down at a great slot...and won again instantly, $1,200 I always stop. It just isn't much fun)
I played slot machines, drank a beer and watched people as I waited to see the 4 Tops, the concert was perfection and on the drive home, in Lewisville,TX, a festival was having a fireworks display.....yesterday was amazing, happy and almost perfection.Love you, me.
