Sunny Windy and Hot Tuesday

I have always said that "Looks Matter Not"....go on admit it. This is the ugliest coffee cake that you have ever seen. The dough was not soft nor attractive, even though it was not difficult to work with. The filling is lemon curd, and I added a drizzle of butter cream icing. It was made in a spring form pan, and the exact circle appeals to me, distracting me from the bland dough. But, this was one of the most delicious coffee cakes that I have ever made. It is gone now, and I salivate thinking of the combination of flavors. (email if you wish for the recipe) Looks do not matter. HEART matters. Lauren is coming to Plano today. We will go to the eye Dr, she for a check up and me to order my new contacts ( I was test driving a certain brand this past week) and pick up my new prescription sun glasses.
