Morgan Spurlock's TV show "30 Days" started its third season last evening. YEA!
Morgan Spurlock is perhaps one person in the industry that I find creative and original. Mr Spurlock takes one idea and puts himself into the scenario of total immersion for 30 days. (thus the title of his TV show)
We had heard of Morgan's McDonald's escapade (Supersize Me). For 30 days he ate only McDonald's food, and documented it on film. It was last summer that I was contacted by his production company, asking for permission to display one of my paintings on a show that was taped in Plano. (of course I gave permission) After the pleasant contact with the production company, Larry and I became fans of the show...where within the realm of a documentary format, you are touched, entertained, instructed and educated.
Last evening season 3 started. Please look on your FX channel for 30 Days....you will be charmed for one hour.
On July 1st, Seasons one and two will be available to buy. (my painting was shown in season two, the episode about Christians and Atheists) But art aside, each episode is a treasure unto itself.
If you wish to be enlightened, touched, entertained.....in this dreary world of predictable TV....look for 30 Days. It will be one hour well spent.
