REARRANGING

a saturday morning

The kitchen is awash with clutter,

How can so many objects come out of one little space?

I had to empty the pantry

as the new door could be installed.

This morning, I have been rearranging

the old pantry, made new.

The new door is very nice.

My pantry is still tiny,

BUT

clutter free!

While cleaning out the pantry,

I found this envelope. It has Mothers handwriting on it,

and is filled with holly hock seeds.

Merde.

Found treasures are the best.

My oldest orchid is blooming today.....

eight stunning blooms.

Happy plants make happy hearts.

OR

is it the other way around?

Either way,

what a glorious day.

Another Saturday Morning

another Saturday Night)

It is overcast outside

and the

tiniest of snowflakes are falling onto the patio.

I am taking care of Mitzu this weekend,

much to Libby's delight.

The dogs do not want to go out into the cold,

but watch the weather

through the window.

Their favorite thing to do,

is

be lazy on the big bed.

Today,

I will paint.

The two canvases on the easel's

beg for attention.

There are a half dozen new tubes

oil paint in my box.

That alone makes me fingers itch.

NEW PAINT!

The pugs need their breakfast.

I need to clean up

and throw on my painting clothes...
