The Perfect Holiday

 Happy Monday....

We have been so busy, I am happy to have a normal day around the house. There are a dozen chores to do but it sounds lovely to stay home and do laundry.

Yesterday started with church.

The Christmas hymns make me cry. 

Does that happen to you? 

Maybe I am remembering Christmas holidays of the past?

After church,

I made sliders for lunch/dinner and we watched a movie.

The movie was Christmas With The Coopers.

Have you ever seen this movie?

It is a 2015 movie, but we had never watched it till recently.

It is one of my favorite holiday movies and is on our to watch list EVERY year. 

Note: If you finally watch it, promise to watch it from beginning to end.

I LOVE this movie and will watch it once more before the holidays are over.

After our sliders and movie,

We headed to Dallas, to the DCT.

It was a Charlie Brown Christmas!

Lauren, Josh and Matilda met us there...

(Jami and Jared would have been there to but they had to work.)

I bribed Matilda to pose for a Charlie Brown picture.

How awesome is this?

The play was spectacular.

Another holiday weekend is over.

To be honest, I do not agree with this....but it is a wonderful idea, isn't it?

I do wish everyone happiness and do not mean to be a Grinch...

we all have baggage and must live with it all year long.
