Bring The Turkey Out Of The Freezer Day

This really happened.
Last weekend, we were invited to the country and have "firepit" time with my daughter Lauren, her husband and their daughter.
But...because we had other plans, our daughter suggested that they cook a turkey and have us for an EARLY Thanksgiving dinner this coming Saturday.
Larry woke up the next morning and said:
I will make the turkey for next Saturday!
I said: WHAT?
Larry does NOT cook at all.
BUT he is roasting a turkey this weekend.

He has written a time-line and today is bring the turkey out of the freezer day.

Mr turkey is on the counter for an hour or two today.
Right now, Larry is taking a break from his business calls
and
is breaking up an entire loaf of white bread for stuffing.

Larry is my favorite person. While breaking the bread, I turned off my music and we talked about life, family and turkey dinners.
What else are Thanksgiving preparations for?

Photo: Thanksgiving Pilgrims,
made by a dear neighbor in the 1980's. Annabelle was a wonderful person and loved by my daughters. Annabelle passed away many years ago and I can still feel her spirit in the things that she shared with us.
She was a blessing to us...

Love you beyond the moon.
Me
