Yesterday was busy.
It continued with Dr appointments
and
finished with my favorite eye Dr.
Three months ago, I had my regular eye check-up.
My prescription changed and the Dr saw a troubling shadow on the photos behind my eye.
She called me the day after my appointment in July to tell me about it.
Because of my cancer history, she was extremely worried
but wanted to wait three months to check it again.
(THREE MONTHS???!!!)
She explained that if it was vascular, it would heal itself.
If it were a tumor, we would decide treatment with my oncologist.
Yesterday was my three month-spot-behind-my-left-eye check up.
They dilated my eyes (both of them) so strong that the blurred vision lasted all day.
The assistant took lots of x rays, photos and tests.
It was a regular high powered check up.
Then they put me in the exam room....above photo.
There I waited for Dr H and was
taking photos and looking at the eyeball posters
when Dr H came in.
I have to share with you that she did a little dance
and had a huge smile on her face.
The problem spot was gone.
GONE.
Dr H told me that she was really worried about this spot
and
hated for me to have to "deal" with cancer again...
but it turned out to be a vascular spot.
It was the best dr visit that I have had in 10 years.
(Larry was in the waiting room and we both came out to tell him)
Larry said to Dr H and me:
its about time that she gets some GOOD news.
We all smiled like Cheshire cats.
Love you beyond the moon.
