Saturday AM

I am sitting in bed with my laptop in front of me.

The SOUP is the noise on TV.

Our next door neighbors are getting a new roof.

The workers started hammering at 7:00am.

We will be spending the evening at said neighbors house tonight,

so I will not say to much.

 

Larry is working. It is his Saturday morning.

He must tie up the week I guess.

 

Interesting week.

 

Phillip Seymoure Hoffman died of a heroin overdose.

Granted , he was a genius, talent personified.

But  as the entertainment industry treats him like a hero

that just went wrong, heroin use is being glorified in a backhanded manner.

 

The Olympics stared.

Putin wanted to show the world how strong and powerful the Russians are.

The jury is still out.

 

It FROZE in Texas this week.

I hope it killed all of the nasty insects

that have bugged us for the past 3 mild years.

 

On a more personal note,

 

The DR called and told me that that I have

 to have another colonoscopy in 3 years.

WHAT? Three years?

One of the polyp's was not good.

I have to do that again in 3 years?

Merde.

 

We hosted a pre super bowl lunch last Sunday.

All I can say is.....I had the best time.

 

I have Larry's Valentine gifts ready for next week.

I cannot wait.

We have a Date. on Friday. So Excited.
A box arrived....and I saw my gift.

Well, I saw the box my gift is in.

He should not have done that.....

BUT

I cannot wait till next Friday!

I send about 3-4 Valentine cards to people without signing them....

Do you have romantic plans for Valentines Day?

I love romance all year,

but Valentines Day is the one day when you can really go over the top.

Ahhhhhhh.

 

The roofers next door are still hammering.

I guess I should get busy....
