The Doll House

.
Last week, Matilda discovered my doll house. It is beautiful and layered with dust in the guest room.
Ignoring the dust, Matilda could not keep her feet still. She asked Larry to turn it around exposing furniture and small appliances. Tiny dolls live in the house.  Matilda was in heaven as she and Larry emptied the house and dusted the pieces.
Making a doll house is difficult.  Such small pieces are almost impossible to put together.
A doll house also reminds me to be humble. I am that small person in the world. Just a pinpoint cog in the big wheel.
What's up with all these mansions and big cars? Are the egos of my peers so big that they need the extra room to live properly?
I do live a small life. I love my life. It is happy and blessed.  God gives me strength to fight my personal battles and grace to accept his will.
Once a long time ago I thought I wanted a big house and a Ferrari.  Not now.
The Cottage and my Corolla are just fine.  It is my Doll House Life. Goodness I am happy...
Love you,
Me
