Wonderful, Hot Chocolate, Wonderful

Todays blog was going to be about the painting that I finished yesterday.
BUT, Lauren does not want to see it till Friday, so it shall remain secret.
{yes, it is her painting}

Yesterday was a triumph though.
Working in a creative way that made me feel wonderful.
Today as I get ready for my yoga class,
my body is ready to feel the stretch and calm that is the other side of wonderful.

Today is freezing outside again.
I shall repeat yesterdays mantra,
HOT CHOCOLATE!
But not till after yoga.

Stay warm, be happy and make a cup of chocolat chaud.
What? You don't know how?
RECIPE:
CHOCOLAT CHAUD
2 1/2 ounces  chocolate
 1/2 cup water
 3/4 cup  sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
6 cups  hot  milk

 Directions:
1. Combine water and chocolate.
 2. Cook until chocolate is melted.
 3. Add sugar and cook until thick.
 4. Cool.
 5. Fold whipping cream into chocolate mixture.
 6. To serve put 2 heaping tablespoons in a cup and add hot milk.

This recipe was given to me by our French landlord.
It is the best....please enjoy.

Love you,
Me
