I am Thursday's Child

Do you remember the song,
Monday's child is fair of face.....?
I am Thursday's child.
Thursdays child has far to go.
I wonder what that means.
Both of my daughters were also born on a Thursday.
{I LOVE Thursdays!}

Last night Larry and I went to a birthday party.
It was a wonderful party, with good friends,
marvelous food, laughter that did not stop
and
guess what?
A good friend brought me a gft.
ME a gift, at Paula's Birthday party.

It is a pink wine goblet celebrating this past year being over
and
looking forward to this great next year!
I love this glass. It means so much.
Thank you Charlene.
You are the best.

Jami's boyfriend made me a plant hanger.
It needs 3 more plants. I will plant them this weekend.
I love this hanger!
Last year, friends sent me this amazing plant.
I have been babying it all year,
and look!
It must like the patio because it is blooming again.
*****
This week, I bought a tiny violet at Trader Joe's.
Using the concept of an African Violet Pot,
I put it in a tea cup.
{one that my grandmother gave me at my wedding}
Keeping the tea cup filled with water, the plant takes only what it needs.
I have never had luck with the mini violets. Maybe this will help?
*****
Thursdays child has far to go.
I guess I better get going. It is a busy day.
What child are you?

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

Have the best-est day.
Love you beyond the moon.
