Busy Day

I have been so busy. Do you have days like that? Days filled with busy moments and wonderful seconds? This morning, while taking my walk, an old friend stopped to visit. We visited in the street...me all nasty and sweaty and her in her Police Uniform. YES! She is a police officer. We had the best visit and made plans to go to dinner in a few weeks.

I made a run to Joann's for black thread, came home and put laundry away. {I ignored that laundry for 2 days} finally my house was clean enough to bake!

I baked a pie for dessert tonight. A wonderful, pie that reminds me of Mother. Find the recipe HERE.

Bobbie, I have not forgotten that I owe you a note...I have been thinking about you, Rosemary and your BIRTHDAY! Lara, your one year anniversary at work...gosh I am proud of you. Ken, get well soon....been in my prayers.

I am going to work on a project right now...the shadows are getting long in the afternoon....Autumn is coming.
