Last Friday, around 8:30 am we arrived in Memphis.
The car rental place was swamped, so that took forever
but before we knew it we were on the road.
Larry had not seen his parents in years.
He kept telling me,
when they call US, we can plan a trip.
Well they just never called us.
Even with Josh being Ill and me being sick.
They just never called.
So I pushed the issue,
Telling Larry that if something happened to one of them or one of us,
I wanted no regrets.
Larry agreed. He booked our trip.
{we did not tell his parents that we were coming}
As we drove through the lush western coast of Tennessee,
toward Atoka,
I was looking for a Florist
to buy roses for his Mother.
{we found a nice place}
Not long after buying he roses,
we arrived at Larry's parents home.
The garden was amazing and their new home lovely.
But...
NO one was home.
I suggested we wait on the porch a bit,
So we sat,
over looking the beautiful garden, feeling edgy.
Finally a car pulled up.
Larry's Mother got out of the car.
Larry walked toward her, saying is my car in your way?
She giggled.
He said, how are you?
She said fine.
She was not smiling.
Larry said, are you happy to see me?
She said yes, and they hugged.
She then backed up and said,
I am sorry but I do not know who you are.
Larry said why don't you go visit with Robin
while I move my car for DAD.
Silence......so akward.
I gave her the roses
and said happy mothers day.
We stayed for about an hour.

Life is interesting.
Just when you get your sea-legs about you,
God send a reminder to keep you on your toes.
I am happy to be home this Friday.
I walked 1.3 miles this morning
and
Mitzu is visiting us for a few days.
Life is interesting...and GOOD!
Love you,
Me
