Memories and Traditions

Today is Larry's birthday.

 Champagne is chilling

and

 the picnic is soon ready to take away.

BUT

In the meanwhile, Look what I found.

Tattered and taped....

it is our first Family Christmas portrait, taken in 1982.

Lauren was about 20 months old.

I made her sweater out of scrap yarn around the house

and

the quilt hanging behind us,was a gift

 to my Mother from my Dingma (grandma to you!)and then on to me.

Good memories and traditions.
