Corn Chowder Alert

Are you a corn chowder fan?
Then this one is for you.
It makes alot,
so
you can "half" the recipe
or maybe
 share left overs with the neighbors.

CORN CHOWDER

Ingredients
1 lb bacon- cut into 1"pieces
4 cups diced red potatoes
2 cups chopped onion
2 cups sour cream
2 1/2 cups milk
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans of corn not drained

Place potatoes and onions in water, cover with water
Boil 10 min, drain
Fry bacon in empty boil pot
fry 5-10 min
add drained potatoes and onion and a bit of water
cook 15-20 min till tender
drain if needed
Transfer to slow cooker
*combine in large bowl, sour cream milk chicken soup and corn.
Add to ingredients in slow cooker
Cover and cook on low (thanks Mada) 2 hours.
Serve with biscuits or corn bread.

It is exactly how I took the notes while putting the soup together.
I guess I should work on that.

to find 4 new African violets to replace the ones that the blasted mouse (Herbert) ate while visiting our cottage this summer.
