The Story Behind Fried Gnome

Many emails came in after I posted "Fried Gnome" yesterday....
(on Toujours & FlickR)
I will share the simple little story.
YES.
The fried egg was real.
I fried it in butter and let it cool before
taking it out to place on Gnomes hat.
It was a greasy mess I tell you
and I do not know if that huge butter/grease mark
will ever wash out of Gnomes hat.
When I was finished with the Fried Gnome shots....
I took the egg to the patio,
you know what I was after....
a simple fried egg on the sidewalk shot.
but I had company.
Garf the cat, sat in the boxwood's and watched me.
Naughty cat......
I gave him a chance to have a real breakfast for once,
but all he did was look
at the cold, heart shaped egg, cooked in butter
and
sitting on a wilted old piece of wax paper.
Naughty cat.
When Larry came home from work,
I could not wait to show him my shots.
He did laugh,
and said.....
naughty cat.
Have a good day,
stay cool and try to behave.
Love you beyond the butter.
