I woke to a sunny birthday!
We dressed and headed to the Memorial.
It was sunny!
I was so happy.
There they were, waiting for me.
This is my view during breakfast.

I had eggs, biscuits and bacon....
while looking across the cafe at the presidents.
The cafe was empty.
It was not to cold for me!
We finished, said good bye to the 4 gentlemen....
and headed to,
THE CRAZY HORSE MEMORIAL
The white sculpture in front, is a prototype.
The real monument is in the back.
Larry surprise me with a private tour guide and tour,
and we were taken to the top if the sculpture.
This is my personal guide, Tom!
I loved being 500 feet up on Crazy Horse's arm.
The massive art took my breath away.
There is so much work left to do,
and I was there on June 10th, 2011
Here are Larry and I, Photo by Tom.
It was so beautiful on the sculpture....
Thank you for the wonderful surprise Larry.
After such a wonderful, breakfast,
and then my excursion to the top of Crazy Horse.....
we stopped by this lake,
and visited about the day.
People were fishing, catching trout I think.
It was quiet and beautiful sitting here.
When we got back to the game lodge,
there was a wedding on the front lawn.
Of course I eavesdropped and shot a photo or two.
The bride wore her Mothers Gown.
