Eggs and Bacon?

"This day is a ROSE"

Thirty years ago, my Mother in Law gave me a plate

with that saying on it.

We called it the boomerang plate,

because,

I TRIED to give it away,

sharing food on it for friends who were ill,

I would share cookies on it at wakes, birthdays,

you know what I am talking about.

That plate always came back.

It came back for about 10 years!

Always.

Once I put a cake on it and took it to a family members house.

I never saw it again.

{Ok GUESS who, hahaha}

After all these years,

Today is still a Rose.....

Larry's new boss sent me a rose yesterday.

What a thoughtful thing to do.

Thursday night Lauren gave me Snickerdoodle cookies.

The entire batch, just for me.

I am ashamed to say, yesterday, Friday,

I ate them for

breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When Larry came home he said,

NO MORE COOKIES...

and made me a home made Philly steak sandwich.

YUM

Our new Granddaughter has a name,

but it seems that Larry and I cannot agree

what we we would like Mattie to call us.

Larry in his infinite wisdom suggested.....

Eggs and Bacon.

Good Job Larry.

Lets confuse the little one before she can walk!

But it is so funny.....

This morning I will go to my annual DAR luncheon.

One of my favorite events all year.

This afternoon is Derby Party with friends.

and

tonight

Pacquiao will fight Mosley.

The party starts at 8 at a local restaurant....
