A Life Without Color?

“Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! Oh, this would be so much easier if I wasn't color-blind!”
~Donkey~
(From Shrek)
My Larry is very colorblind.
It seems to have gotten worse as he has gotten older.
The most amazing thing is....
he can recognize value & hue better than anyone I know.
It does not bother him at all,
but it makes me sad for him.
Imagine a life without color.
I cannot.

Garfield came to the window,
signaling that he wanted his dinner.
I try so hard to not like him,
but he tugs at my heart all the time.
He likes Larry better than he likes me.

Garf posed before I fed him.
Look at that face.
I think he has been fighting again.

I hope that your weekend is fight free!
Larry comes home today
and
I will take him out to dinner tonight.

I should walk this morning, but,
I have a major case of the lazies.
Do you think I should get treatment?
Love you beyond the color wheel.

OMG - Garfield is a dusty, very scratched up little love bug! But then, I have a weakness for felines.
I had a kitty named Garth Williams, after the illustrator. He was a bit of a bruiser, too.
