I had a "moment" last week.
You know the kind ....
when something touches you so deeply
that you forget to breathe
and
wonder if you have any tissues in your purse.
Last week was a good week.
I found myself walking Libby every day,
getting things done around the house,
and
wandering the aisles of my favorite
fabric and art supply stores.
I stopped to look at a few pattern books,
seeing what is new...
The Simplicity book opened to the new-born section.
And
as I thumbed through the pages, I saw it.
It is the exact pattern my mother had
in her stash of patterns from when I was small.
She used this pattern when Lauren was born,
and Jamison too.
As I looked at the page,
trying not to cry.
( I did not have a tissue in my purse,
but I did have a camera and took this photo)
The moment gave me the most wonderful feeling
of love and family.
No, I did not buy the pattern
to make things for Lauren's baby....
I just smiled.

Memories...
I was thinking, no matter how mean people can be,
they can never take away your memories.
Good memories, that are comfort and smiles...
and the supplier Good Moments.
Love you,
Me

Oh Robin, I think it is a sign from your mother. I think she wants you to make something for the baby - from her. :) love you
