"There's rosemary, that's for remembrance:pray, love, remember;
and there is pansies, that's for thoughts."
~William Shakespeare~

At Christmastime,
I was given a rosemary plant.
Rosemary lived on the patio with all of the herbs
until last week, when the bad weather came.
Rosemary is now in the house,
living among people and pugs.
The silhouette is striking against
the snow that has recently fallen.
Tonight, rosemary will share her heart
as I harvest a branch or two to cook with a chicken.
Rosemary is a gift of grandeur.
One that is truly a gift from the heart.
(Thank you Samantha)
May all of the gifts that you give,
be from the heart.
Love you.
Me
