Laughter Of The Gods

Sitting at the dining room table
I was getting party invitations ready.

The house was quiet,
and the morning sun was coming in the window.
Autumn leaves were falling onto the deck in slow motion,
and then it hit me.
A content feeling that you get when the world around you is in turmoil,
but your heart is strong and your head knows just what needs to be done.
It is a surprising moment when you expect to be upset,
but calmness and strength takes its place.
We are given such a small window in this lifetime,
to live, love and be kind.
I hope that I never disappoint.

Einstein, the finger puppet is in the photo above.
Someone put him on the candlestick...
He is funny and creepy all at once.
(my passion for finger puppets is stronger than creepiness)
My favorite Einstein quote is:
"Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge
is shipwrecked by the laughter of the Gods."

Love you.
