Last week we had a phone call from our landlord
in France.
Our holiday apartment had a water main break,
and
suffered great damage.
She (Debbie) sent us information on other properties.
We packed it all up, and went to dinner.
Spreading the new apartment information all over the table,
we ate dinner and hung over the photos, locations and prices.
We settled on a loft on the "left bank"
Look for photos soon.
I REALLY need a holiday,
and I do not even care about the STRIKES happening in Paris,
or where we live while we are there.
or where we live while we are there.
Imagine...
landing at De Gaulle.
Grabbing a taxi.
Driving through the streets of Paris to a brand new apartment.
Unpacking,
brushing your teeth, running down to the marche for groceries
and
wine....
(this is when we take things home, have a cup of tea,
and then go to church to pray for the people who have left us this year
and for the special people in our lives who need extra prayers whispered)
Can you tell?
I need to go far away.....cannot wait,
cannot wait, counting the days!
Below:
STAR is location of our newest of new apartment.
Love you.
