The house was empty yesterday.
I did not get much done.
I did walk in the morning.
About 3/4's of the way home, two huge dogs
came aggressively toward me.
I was frightened, and was successful in shooing them away.
I realized that I have no plan
to defend myself.
All of these years walking , and all I did was stand there, scared.

After
doing errands and numerous chores,
Larry and I met for dinner.
The restaurant was busy.
I had the Hot Dog Hoagie,
and shared fries with Larry.
Larry said lets wait for dessert.
I agreed because that hot dog had filled me up

Guess where he took me?
Dairy Queen.
A Banana Split Blizzard was my dessert.

When we arrived home, I walked to the mailbox,
and the flowers in the mailbox planter,
looked amazing.
The tiny violets were peeking up at me.
Another perfect day in paradise.
