I had to get away.

Out of the house.

It has been a very long month for me. I have become a blob.

A thoughtful blob, but a blob just the same.

Time slips away from me, and I have no clue where it has gone.

I daydream of the beach.

Hot sun, sand, waves that slap me into reality.

But

my reality is here, now.

So, I did what any red blooded woman would do.

Got my nails done.

AND

A hot stone pedicure,

with

BIG APPLE RED polish

on each toe.

Today, I am sorry to say,

I am still a blob,

but my hands and feet look lovely.
