PICNIC

Happy New Years Eve.

I am making a picnic.

Tonight we will picnic, then stroll to the Meyerson Symphony Center.

The Dallas Symphony will perform a special concert.

A New Years Concert.

For the picnic, I made my favorite Poppy Seed Muffins.

Here is my recipe:

POPPY SEED MUFFINS

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 Tablespoons poppy seeds

1 1/2 cups milk

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract

***Combine all ingredients.

Beat several minutes until well blended.

Spoon into mini muffin pan ( sprayed with pam)

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Makes 50 mini muffins.

I wonder how many picnics we will have in 2010? Happy New year.
