Knit one..............
It has been a quiet day. It should have been raining or snowing because that is the cozy feeling that I have.
Larry is out of town, The house is quiet and I have gotten a lot done. The house is decorated and I have been knitting a hat.
Lauren (my oldest 20-something daughter) has a habit of calling me and saying, Mom, I found a great hat pattern! She tells me about the book that it is in. I buy it, and then when the mood strikes me, I order yarn and start knitting.
Lauren wanted a pink hat and the yarn was on back order. Kim, her friend in VA, wanted red, and that is the hat I made first.
Sorry to say the pattern in the book was awful. I had to scrap it and write my own pattern. The hat above, is hat #2.....with plans for about 3 more hats.
Hand made gifts.
Priceless.
Love you,
Me
