As part of RUN THE ROCK
There is a mayor's fun run the day before the marathon.
It starts at Dallas City Hall.
It was a cloudy, cold morning.and
beautiful
We had pre-registered, (yes, even Libby!)
and
waited for the start of the race.
The start banner was great,with the Dallas skyline behind it.
The air-gun went off,
and as you can see, we were back of the pack
pushing Libby in her stroller.
The race took us across the Trinity River.
Larry is at the bottom of this photo.
We made it to the finish in about 45 minutes.
(remember we pushed Libby's stroller)
After the race, we hung out
and had fun with the Air Force truck.
Libby loved the tire on the Air Force monster truck.

It was only three miles, and next year,
we will plan a picnic after the race.
