Yesterday,

Lauren & Jami came to visit.

They ate take away food,

(YAY for Country Burger)

and

discussed the world as they often do.

I sat on the sofa and knit.

( Knitting an afghan for Jami)

It is then when they heard it.

The meow of discontent.

Two neighborhood cats were at our front door,

posturing for power.

I looked at Lauren & Jami,

peeking out at the ruckus,

and grabbed my camera.....

the moments of our day.
