170 Christmas Stockings!

We are making Christmas stockings for the children of the Interfaith Children's Home. A group of Ladies buy fabric, cut out, sew and then trim the stockings. Members of the church will bring things for us to fill the stockings with. (age specific of course)

All of these stocking have ended up at my house. I look at the fabric and imagine how wonderful it would be, as a child, to receive a filled stocking with goodies in it?(this might be the only thing the child gets this holiday) I know one thing though. I know that it is wonderful filling a stocking such as this.

Shall you fill a stocking this year? For a loved one? One associated with your church such as this one is? Or perhaps adopt a child from the Salvation Army Tree?
