Fathers Day

~Sunday Dinner and Movie~

It was unbearably hot. Sweltering fathers smiled as they tied their new ties. Larry asked if he could skip church. I answered, only if I get to skip it with you. We were lazy almost all day. Golden Chick was our "take away" of choice, but I did make dessert. Strawberry Shortcake. Sunday's movie was IT HAPPENED TO JANE. A not so well known Doris Day movie, but it has Jack Lemmon in it! (I saw it the first time years ago and Jami gave me this copy for my birthday last week)

Yesterday was the perfect celebration....a combination of summer, fathers, good food, and a movie to remember. I hope that you had the same special day.
