Blooming

 My sweet Black Eyed Susans 

are starting to bloom this week.

There is a flower bed of them 

outside our front door,

and they make me happy.

“Even in darkness, there is light.” –

 Reflects the flower’s golden petals shining through the dark center, symbolizing hope amid adversity
