The Paris Hat

Photo: The Paris Hat

In Paris this year, we had reservations at one of Larry's favorite restaurants. It was very cold out and we took a taxi to the restaurant.
Dinner was spectacular, the wine was awesome
and it was an evening to remember.
We decided to take a romantic
walk back to the apartment.
It was SO COLD outside that night.
I was freezing during the walk....
we passed the Cathedral of Notre Dame on the way home, where there are dozens of souvenir shops, and they are open very late.
Yes. I did that thing.
I bought a Paris tourist hat.
Larry laughed so hard at me, and I think that there is a selfie of us somewhere around here
with me in that hat.
The point of this story is,
I had to get "that hat" out this week.
It is so cold in Texas
and it is one of the warmest hats I own.
(but I don't love it)

"A woman's hat is close to her heart
though she wears it on her head, it is her way of saying to the world:
See, this is what I am like-Or-this is what I would like to be."

Please stay warm today.
Love you beyond the moon.
