When the tickets came last week, I found the old jar that I put them in, and it was a dusty-dirty mess. One run through the dishwasher made it shiny, clean and ready for the 2025 raffle.
I will be having a raffle for the Komen 2025 race for a cure late this summer. The race is in October and Team Believe's details are yet to be smoothed out. I do have a few wonderful ideas.
Last year after not being part of the Komen Race for 5 years, Larry and I walked the 5K Komen North Texas event. Physically, I had the hardest time. Treatments for breast cancer (twice) and age had caught up with me. I was unable to finish the 3 miles and felt defeated. It is then I knew that I need to do more.
I have signed up for the event already and I am in training for the race.
There will also be a raffle like in other years but I have not decided exactly what that will look like and will keep you posted.
