Yesterday, I registered "Team Believe" for the Komen Breast Cancer Walk in October. (I am the erstwhile captain of Team Believe)

This is huge for me, because after the second cancer diagnosis in 2019, I was angry, sad, in denial and tired of treatment.

Last year, in the spur of the moment, Larry and I registered for the Komen breast cancer walk. It is then I realized that I still have the ability to help in some way.

Komen helps fund research for all of us. If it were not for tumor tests and updated treatments, I would not be here.  I am still here for a reason...

I would LOVE you to walk with the team, think good thoughts, pray for us and most important of all, have your yearly screenings. Early detection saved my life. Twice. (I know, I say that a lot and I am still here to say it!)

Breast cancer is a nasty, ugly thing. Even if you are in remission or you are a survivor, you wear the scars of surgery, treatment and your body betraying you.

Thank you for listing to me and being part of my Komen journey.

Love you beyond the moon.
