The Broken Toaster

On Saturday, I bought a dozen bagels from my favorite deli.
There was a brand-new toaster at home and I
had been bagel deprived over the holidays.
Rushing home to toast a bagel, sliced one, put it in the toaster...
and immediately broke the temperature button
off of the front of my brand-new toaster.
Crap.
No toasty bagel with cream cheese now,
not till Amazon delivers another new toaster this afternoon.
Do you use a toaster often?
