Today I am grateful for weather alerts.

Yesterday, after lunch, Larry and I headed north to a grocery store that I love because it has different things than our market here in Plano has. It is about 50 minutes from our house.

The grocery store is in Sherman, Texas and is twelve miles from the state line of Oklahoma.

Before we got to Sherman, the rain stated.
It was awful.
I think that Larry enjoyed driving in the storm and he did a great job.
We had trouble seeing and many of the streets were covered with water.
The lightening was spectacular.
When we got to the market, we waited in the car for a while for the rain to let up.

Oklahoma had tornadoes yesterday and are expecting bad storms again today as we are here in north Texas.

We came home...and I made dinner.
We had burgers and chips and dip.

For dessert we had a baked custard pie with blueberries.

It had stopped raining and the wind was weaker.
We enjoyed dinner and hoped that everyone in Oklahoma was safe.

Please take care this week.
Love you beyond the moon.
