Larry and I have been reflecting....on the lovely Autumn trip that we took this year. There are many special moments, but one morning that stays in our mind is our morning at La Cuisine Paris.
This years cooking class was not our first class at La Cuisine Paris, but it was a wonderful adventure. Larry is a NON-cook and I am as basic as can be.
This year we took the Pate A Choux class with Chef Vi.
When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the staff,
and Jane Bertch was there so say hello, make sure we had our aprons and be supportive in any way possible.
We went to our kitchen, met Chef Vi, and introduced ourselves to the other students. The classes are small and intimate.
Larry enjoyed this class so much. He realized that baking was scientific and not quite as difficult as he thought.

La Cuisine has many awesome classes. This years class was wonderful, but my other favorite was the appetizer class with Chef Cyril. Chef Cyril, is serious but has a wonderful, amusing sense of humor.

When we returned home from France this year, we were asked to make
"CREAM PUFFS" for a brunch that we were attending.
OH OH OH!
We were so excited to test our skills.
I think that we did a great job.
Larry and I work very well in the kitchen together.

We are currently deciding what class we will take next November.
The list of classes is so much fun, it is difficult to decide and the classes do fill up quite fast.

Jane Bertch the owner of La Cuisine Paris, is such a kind person and is always smiling.
During my cancer treatments, Larry and I had to cancel a few classes and La Cuisine took very good care of us. I cannot thank them enough for being so accommodating during a difficult time.
If you are planning a trip to Paris anytime soon, Larry and I highly recommend La Cuisine Paris. Step out of your box, even if you are a home cook...try a new skill. It is a wonderful experience.
