All-Time Favorites

The playlist is playing James Taylor Christmas again. It is one of my favorites, and it randomly comes up often. James Taylor was my first concert. (imagine 1968, Raleigh NC. The venue was super small and Carol King was with him. It was the BEST concert.) Confession: JT is one of my all-time favorites performers.

My Christmas music is on and Larry is working near my studio today, called the dining room. (smilie face) He has his own home-office but it is almost a holiday, right? When he works in here, (with all of his papers and laptop) it makes me happy when he is near.

Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas with my daughter Lauren and her family. She had a wonderful brunch for us and then we opened gifts. It was a lovely, special time.

One off the gifts that my son in law gave me was new origami paper. Because I made an origami crane every day, I opened the new paper (from Japan!) and made a crane. The paper is quite fine and beautiful.

The new crane was made with paper with the design of "The Wave"...

Tonight I am taking Larry into Dallas for his belated birthday dinner. It seems that we celebrate him all month now and how awesome is that? We are going to one of his favorite restaurants and should have a great time.

Please have a good weekend. Don't stress as you get ready for Christmas on Monday. Everything will be fine.

Today's Christmas quote is:

Garrison Keillor, Leaving Home

“A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together.

Happy Holidays....love you beyond the moon.
