Sunday, Dinner and a Movie

Monday morning: The roofers are still here and to be honest, the loud noises are  terrorizing me. I never thought that I was such a woosie, but I guess I am. I took my BP meds....but want to go to bed and get under the covers.

Yesterday, Sunday, we slept in, skipped church, and enjoyed the quiet as the workmen were not here.

We went to a flea market, and then came home to make dinner.

Our Sunday menu was , mashed potatoes, tomahawk steak and squash casserole. Dessert was custard pie and fresh blueberries.

Larry picked up a nice wine.....

And our dessert was wonderful....

My favorite custard pie.

Our movie was.....

A classic 1963 comedy.

Monday laundry is half way done and Larry is dressed to go to a huge afternoon meeting at the Dallas OP-CO with a client. The roofers are banging away and  it is a beautiful morning.

When I get caught up, I have two cards to write in. One to Manchester, UK and the other Toulon France. Often, I wish that these dear friends lived much closer to us.

Please have a happy Monday.

Love you beyond the moon.
