Since Tuesday, workmen have been here.

The Cottage is getting a new roof, decking, soffits and facings.

Fifty years of wear and tear is now being fixed. Larry is working in the dining room to be close to the "action" but I cannot stand the constant hammering.  I try to escape to a part of the house where the men are not working where I try to concentrate on a good book.

The work started the morning after we returned from Cape Cod. BUT I have managed to get things unpacked and laundry done. It is difficult getting things done with the house surrounded with workmen.

I think that I am going to pull up Amazon and buy new pillows.

Sounds promising doesn't it?
