The Blank Stares Of Summer

The long, hot days are growing together.
I have to find air conditioned places to (exercise) walk
and when I do walk,
it is considerably a shorter distance than normal.
Have you noticed that people are not happy
and they have the blank stares of summer?

The last few weeks included my Mothers birthday on Aug 6, the anniversary of her death on the 13th and this weekend Larry and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary.

I believe that I have a blank stare now.
To much heat.
to many memories
and
the news of the world makes me want to cry.
(I will share thoughts about our beloved Hawaii soon.)

Please know that so many of us are struggling
through this eventful summer.
Remember to breathe, drink lots of water,
and think positive thoughts.

Love you beyond the moon.
Me
