Jamison was born on the first day of summer,
in Memphis Tennessee
and because Jami was unexpected (my infertility)
there were no due dates to go by.
We had a sonogram and they measured her femur.
That measurement gave us the due date of May the 25th.
She was born on June 21st.
Interesting how inaccurate that was.
The June day was hot and steamy. Methodist Hospital in Memphis is around the corner from Graceland, Elvis Presley's Estate and Beal Street.
I was in Labor 6 hours when the DR checked me and said, you have a few more hours.....but 5 minutes later, I told the nurse that I felt weird....she checked me, and hollered, get DR Young NOW!.
We made it to the delivery room and Jami was born after 6 hours and ten minutes of labor.
Larry and I were not to have a second child , but she such a blessing. I cannot imagine our life without her.
Jamison is amazingly smart, a wonderful friend, she paints and is a perfect daughter. Her kind heart is huge and she loves life.
Today on her birthday, I wish her many blessings and may all of her dreams come true.
Jimmers: Larry and I love you very much. Stay strong and as the Uncle would say, Chin up kiddo! Have the best day!
Love you beyond the moon.
