Movie: John Wick Chapter One

We had a nice Sunday. It started by making a chocolate fudge cake and then going to church. After church, we went to Tuesday Morning to see if there were any bargains. (there were NOT) and then we went to the garden center where Larry bought 4 huge wood ferns for the containers in front of the house. (he plants them every year) ..and they look amazing this year. He also bought plants for the mailbox...and planted them. Everything looks great  but I must confess, Spring is finally here. I don't know if I am ready.

I am very  grumpy about Spring, maybe that is why Larry bought me the nicest Philodendron plant from the garden center. I love the Italian terra cotta pot he bought too. They were bought separately and I planted the plant in it when we came home.

There is nothing more organic than planting plants and getting soil on your hands. I think that is why he bought the plant for me. The ultimate distraction.

It was a beautiful day yesterday. Larry was calm and happy and I made a fun dinner and got a new plant.
