I am so happy to be back home. Larry and were in Las Vegas for the International Pizza Expo last week.
Larry had clients that were attending and he was there to host them at the show and for meals, etc. (we have attended 5 expos the past few years)
We had dinner with our wonderful friends, Sammy and Molly.

Sammy and Molly own multiple pizza restaurants in the Dallas area. We have been friends with them since they had ONE restaurant. I love them so much. They are the sweetest couple and they are very active with the EXPO.
I also had the chance to meet Larry's bosses. I had never talked to them or met them in person as the pandemic changed many things over the past few years. We had a lovely dinner at a restaurant called John George in the Aria Hotel. I must admit, I had the nicest time getting to know both Shaun and Kathy. Our waitress was very Vegas-like kooky, and that added levity to the evening.
While Larry worked at the Expo, I brought projects to work on.

I have a knitting project on the needles and a canvas (oils on linen) that I was working on in the hotel. We stayed at the Vdara Hotel. It was a nice suite, with room for me to work.
One of my favorite things about Vegas is, the ART that is in the hotels.
The painting above is in the Wynn Hotel. The texture of this painting is my favorite thing about it....my photo does not do it justice.
Larry and I are both tired today and have much to do. It is good to be home, but as always, the Expo never disappoints. Larry's connection with his clients is always a gift and for me, being exposed to Vegas always inspires me on an ARTistic level.
Happy first week of April.
Love you beyond the moon.
Me
