A Bridgerton Dress

I kept very busy yesterday, and it felt wonderful. The day was a bit cloudy and moody, and I spent almost the entire day sewing at my worktable.

Larry and I have an event to attend in a few weeks, and I honestly could not find anything (dress-wise) that worked for me to wear, so I made a dress. Pattern, fabric and notions together cost less than $60.00. And I LOVE how the dress turned out.

The pattern is a "Bridgerton" style dress  and I used batik fabric. I tried on the finished dress this morning, and it fits perfectly. Now I must hem it and finish off the neckline. I LOVE it!

I will try to get a photo of me in the dress at the party.

After spending yesterday making a dress, I put my feet up and knit for an hour to relax. (I am working on a project for the Texas State Fair) When I put my knitting down, I reheated left-overs for dinner, Reuben Sliders! Larry did not mind left overs for dinner. He was super busy yesterday too. AND...….after dinner, we went for ice-cream!

Larry had an ice-cream cone and I had an M&M mix. It was so good!

There is something special about ice-cream after a long day.

What is your favorite flavor ice-cream?

Love you beyond the moon.
