We Made The Cookies Together

This past weekend we celebrated an anniversary. Larry proposed to me on Valentines Day 1977. We have plans for Valentines evening, so we made dinner together two days early to acknowledge 46 years.

After church we came home and made Valentine wafer cookies. We had so much fun making them together, and Larry is a good sport. Making cookies really is not his "thing".

Our menu was beef tenderloin, scalloped potatoes, green beans and sautéed mushrooms. Dessert was vanilla ice-cream and Valentine cookies.

The Sunday movie was An Affair To Remember, a "traditional" Valentine movie....

...and Larry chose the Champagne. It was spectacular.

We talked a lot during dinner& movie, then exchanged gifts during dessert. (I will share more about that later) and dessert was my favorite because we made the cookies together.

Tomorrow is the big day. Valentines Day is a perfect time to share your feelings with someone special.

All You Need Is Love

Love you beyond the moon.
