 This is one of my old, favorite photos. I think that it was taken in 2011. We had a small apartment near Place de la Republique, Paris, France, and this was the window in the living room.

The apartment was huge but had a problem with the lighting. If you turned on certain lights there would be a ear shattering boom...and of course, fuses would need changed. EEEK. I did not like that apartment. 

BUT, the windows were lovely and the courtyard charming. My gargoyle kept us safe from the fuses blowing up. (sometimes)

Every morning, I read special devotionals.....todays resonated with me. Perhaps it will mean something to you too?

Sometimes life is overwhelming and finding a source of relief is difficult. Today  this was the reading in my prayer book. I think that God wanted to remind me that everything is ok.
