For Now

How often do I tell you that Libby is sleeping near me?
It is often, and today,
I thought that you might like to see her when I say that.
(pic taken a few moments ago)
She is sqeaking/snoring and the sun is warming her old bones.
Goodness I love this dog.

 I am skipping yoga.
Today is the more advanced class and to be honest,I feel really beat up.
I have walked at least 9 miles so far this week
and
my knees are asking for a break.
So I am giving it to them.

View from the look out at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.
Yesterday,was a beautiful day,

Lauren, Matilda and I walked the
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, hike.
Matilda was great and FUN.
We held hands alot of the way
and
her chatter about everything we saw was fabulous.
During our walk she gave me a Ginkgo Leaf.
It is a charming dried version...
and
reminded me of the ginkgo tree at Mothers house long ago.
I told Matilda about that tree.
She did not really understand about her Great Grandmother,
not yet.
But I will be sure to share with her special things about
a wonderful woman.
Mother died in 1995.
After that, I never felt her near....until now.
Twice I have felt Momma near. It was not life altering or spooky.
It was just nice.

Larry was so happy to go to work today.
He said good things are-a-happenin'.
I am anxious to hear the stories tonight.

Today  my tired knees are skipping yoga.
I have to finish getting the room ready for the carpet man tomorrow.
(you know, getting everything out of the room)
Tonight we are meeting clients of Larry's for dinner in Dallas.
This couple is so wonderful,
I am looking forward to the evening very much.
For now, I shall say bye.
It is sunny and beautiful...
have a perfect day? (!)
Love you,
Me.
