On June 14th I will be walking/running the 5K in the Susan Komen Race For The Cure.
{almost 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer}
As I try to raise money, I am also auctioning off one of my paintings.

To be honest, my recovery has been slow.
I am now walking often and trying to lose the weight I have gained due to crazy meds.
I am on only three meds now! {one being the chemo pill}
I am looking forward to this walk... walking as a survivor and I am thrilled.
I know many of you that been behind me during this journey.
Your support and love has been such a gift to me.
I really hate to ask even more from you now...

While I am walking in the Komen walk,
I am afraid that it will be very emotional for me.
My walk, my funds raised, a painting donated, is for all of us.
Breast cancer is something that I never thought that I would have.
I had plans to die from a heart attack at the mall shopping.
This next part of my journey is going to be interesting
as was
diagnoses, surgery and treatment for my breast cancer.
